Okay, sweet_silences and I have known for a while we are superheroes. Her power is Being Awesome at Trivia, mine is (I'm pretty sure) indecisiveness and procrastination. And as with most superheroes, Awesome Ability comes, of course, with a weakness.

I think I've discovered mine. It may be unwise to share such a thing on the internet, but I find myself in the slightly confusing and perhaps unfortunate position of loving my weakness, sort of like Superbabs and carrot cake.

Why does Lady Gaga's music go so beautifully with Ten/Simm!Master footage? We mere mortals can but wonder.

Mum's watching Robin Hood and the villain woman said "odious". This reminded me of one of my favourite phrases, "odious nerk". I googled it to see if I had spelled it correctly, and the only result on the first page that had the whole phrase was the source of the phrase itself.

Also, I can't wait until I have money to have a paid LJ account so I can have a million trillion icons.

1. <strike>Randomly</strike> pick a song from your music library.
2. Find the lyrics for the first four verses/chorus
3. Go to Google translation and translate the lyrics from English into German.
4. Take the new German lyrics and translate them into French.
5. Take the new French lyrics and translate them into English.
6. Post the NEW English lyrics and have people guess the original song.

By 'verse', is 'paragraphs' meant? Four paragraphs seems to really give it away though...

(I used several sites. This seems to be the most common answer.)

There once was a man who had a little too much time on their hands. He never stopped believing he was older. But when his night ended, he would take his last friend and wanted to believe he could wish himself health on a clover with four.

"The bloody 'ell are you playin' at?"
"...Bit a' good cop bad cop."
"Nononono, you're more like, uh, 'bloody gorgeous cop'."

... That bit still makes me wtf a little. I mean, yes, of course, and naturally Gene thinks so, but... Why? Maybe, in context, he's referring to Sam flirting with what's-her-name? That doesn't seem to quite fit, though... And Sam doesn't even seem to register that Gene just called him gorgeous! I mean... what?

You may now return to your regularly scheduled whatever.

Also, Philip Glenister and John Simm both have really cute noses. I realize this is a strange thing to notice.

I should, of course, be doing school work. I almost want to be doing schoolwork. I DON'T KNOW WHY I'M NOT.

Pick a band/artist, and answer the questions using titles from their songs:

1. Choose a band/artist:
Black Rebel Motorcycle Club

3. Describe yourself:
Ain't No Easy Way

4. How do some people feel about you:
Am I Only

5. How do you feel about yourself:
Shuffle Your Feet

6. Describe where you want to be:
Berlin

9. Describe how you live:
Still No Answer

12. Share a few words of Wisdom:
Stop

13. Now say goodbye:
Devil's Waitin'

From here (found through google)

If you could have been born and grown up somewhere else, where would that have been?
Um... Just somewhere? Not somewhen? Narnia. Or Gallifrey. (Never said it had to be a real place.)

If there were no laws, which (former) crime would be the first you'd commit?
First thing I'd probably do would be to move as quickly as possible to a place that *did* have laws. I have no ability to protect myself in such a situation.

If you could know anything about your future, what would it be?
I can't think of anything - if the future was fixed and I couldn't change the answers, why (potentially) depress myself?

Owing to a peculiar concatenation of events, you are the wealthiest person in the world, and the latter will end in 24 hours. Money being no object, and saving the world being impossible, what would you do during that last day?
Pay people to kidnap/adapt a space ship, get some economists to tell me how to quickly make it a self-sustaining environment, fly around the world very very quickly in some sort of stolen craft to collect various friends and respected people, and take off before the end. Alternately, I'd find out what sex is like, fly around the world to meet online friends in person, and give the extra money out so others could also do stuff.

If you could hunt down one childhood tormentor (whether it be bully, tattletale, mean teacher, or friend's mother who hated you for no good reason) and exact revenge upon them in some spectacular, prankish fashion without worry of consequences, who would you choose, and what would you do to him/her?
I never really had one of those...

If you could have any one superpower, what would it be?
Logically, yes, the power to do anything. BECAUSE THAT WOULD BE AWESOME. Alternately, the power to go into the worlds described in any work of fiction (and bring people/things with me), and change stuff. Like in Devil's Whore, for example. 'Nuff said really.

If you could punch any one person from any point in history, who would you pick?
Um... It probably wouldn't be very effective, I've never punched anyone. But if I had the ability to just hit them and leave, Attila the Hun. Partly because of the WTF it would leave him with, and partly so I could know I'd done it. That would be awesome. I just punched Attila the Hun in the face. And got away alive and unharmed. Can you imagine?

If you were given the opportunity to live another life, what kind of life would you like to have?
Well, isn't that nice and vague? I want a mansion with a room which has a trampoline for a floor, as well as a room with those balls in the McDonalds playpens and halls for rocket-roller skates. And a jet. And lots of airspace.

If you could alter history in one specific place, where would it be, and why?
I would make it so Gallifrey and Time Lords actually existed. (You never said it had to be Earth's history, or that we had to know how we'd alter it!)

Assuming you (or a group of friends) conquer Earth, which section(s) of the planet would you personally desire, and why?
I'd want most of Europe and the UK so I could make sure it's left alone. They seem to be doing pretty well on their own, I guess.

If you could, with no repercussions, subject anyone you wanted to one day of utter and complete torture, who would you choose, why would you choose them, and what would you do to them? Conversely, if you could give anyone you wanted (other than yourself) one day of perfect happiness, who/why/what would you choose?
You want us to answer both? Torture... Um... I'm not in the mood for torture at the moment. Get back to me when I'm thinking about bastards who victimize animals and such things.
Perfect happiness... wouldn't that be cruel, in its own way? I guess it depends on how you look at it. Just one person? That's not fair. Not a'tall. I'd try to make it so I could give one to all my friends (and certain celebrities that I like and respect, naturally).

They want to make your life into a Cartoon. Which graphic artist do you want to draw it?
They? Which they? I'd say fern_tree but I'd never subject her to the boredom...

Movie adaptations of books - heinous, evil and always disappointing or perfectly acceptable?
They can be alright, and usually are. Plus, they typically make people read the books in question, so I guess more the second option.

What one song brings up the strongest emotion (negative or positive) for you?
Umm... I don't know, I love all music. Okay, most music. Okay, a lot of music. I've no idea.

If you had the choice to live in any fictional world, as in transposed into a book, which one would it be? Please explain why.
I want to say Devil's Whore (I will not limit myself to books!) , but I have no idea why beyond, "THE PRETTY!!!". Also, I could ... alter a few things. As mentioned above. Or at least try.

Batman or Superman?
Both! I like 'em best when they're interacting with each other. They're more fun that way.

What fictional character do you most identify with and why?
I have no idea. I can't think of one that I consider "like me", so I guess none of them.

*goes back to reading Crime and Punishment*

Well, I was thinking about the Life on Mars-Potter AU thingy...

Gene peered through the peephole, snorted, and opened the door, leaning against the doorframe and raising an eyebrow at the madman on his doorstep. Said madman shifted from foot to foot, arms wrapped around his middle, droplets falling from the hem of his robe and running together to form a small puddle around his bare feet. The robe was soaked nearly to the point of translucence and he was clearly trying very hard to control his shivering, but he made up for it with a glare almost fierce enough to strip the paint from the walls behind Gene's head. Gene kept his expression bland.

"To what do I owe the pleasure?"

"You u-utter b-b-bastard!" The snarl, the self-righteous anger, the steel running through the other man, and it's nearly all Gene can do to keep the grin from his face. It's about time.

Am I insane, or --- wait, no, scratch that first bit. Did I just hear Ray say, "That's crap. And some of it was in Klingon."

And the close up on Gene stamping on Ray's foot! Gene's started using subtlety, and we see right away how the world (and policing, with it) has changed. :( "For the record, he will retract that remark." ... :| A whole new Gene! I kind of like that, while at the same time it troubles me rather a lot. Aw, yes, and with the phone call they make sure everyone knows things can't be done the way they were in '70's Manchester. (Do you think things are this different in Manchester too, or is part of the change due to the setting of a bigger city where more eyes are on them? London is bigger, right, I haven't just accidentally insulted anybody?)

"It's all about the future. And you know what? I don't think the future includes you." Weird thing, though. You'd think that, right? That Gene Hunt would refuse to change and thus be left behind - but he hasn't. We've seen already how he's tied up trying to navigate beurocracy. It's his team that's behind. (How have they not changed? They've had a year to follow Gene's example. Maybe he's just recently started learning how to dance on the eggshells of Upper Management or whatever. Yes, my metaphores are worse than Gene's. Worse than they used to be, anyway, maybe he's gotten better at them.)

"You can't give a person who has periods that much responsibility." *laughs* <3 Ray. Also, we're seeing how isolated Gene is. That seems to come with all the 'proper procedure' bollocks, seeing as Sam had an issue with that isolation thing too.

"Stop wiggling your bloody fingers every time you say my name." Annoyed and with his hair back like that, he kind of reminds me of... an angry seal. I don't even know.

Oh I love this bit. *laughs* What Sam should have done with Annie in LoM. Or what he's better off not having done, depending on your point of view.

"Now. Let's break it down. I was shot." And now Chris gets the same look on his face he got escorting Sam to his car in LoM's first ep.

Alex's flat is so much better than Sam's. *pouts* God, you could fit five of Sam's crappy little apartments in there. (...Is that her apartment?)

Why does she get the slow motion entrance? o.O

"I'm the manc lion, it says so on me door." <3

'Luigi, get yourself a drink."
"No, signore Hunt. I go upstairs, shoot myself."
"Good man."

Oh my God no. Someone save me from this music. UGH GAG ME WITH A SPORK.

I shall continue at a later time. I know you're all quivering with antici...

pation.

:|

In which LoM-->A2A is rambled of, and a plot is contemplated

Last night I was imagining an Alex-Sam confrontation (I certainly have essential and important thoughts before bed, yes :D), and realized Sam had ended it with an insult to Alex's hair. He said it looked better straight. (This assumes he saw her in '06 or '07 or whenever and remembers it clearly enough.) I maintain that the insult is in character, especially as it sort of matches that little 'oh no you di'in't!' head wobble thing he does in ep 1 of LoM. It doesn't matter whether he actually thinks her hair looked better that way, what matters is making her self conscious about it. Heh. Sam can be such a queen. <3

sweetsilences, while watching A2A, said she always wanted to color in Alex's eye makeup. I'm not sure if Sam would say that, though. Guess it depends on how much he enjoyed the culture of the '80's. Say, if Sam was in that decade, would he have to change his habitual outfit? *horror* Gene changed his outfit, though I could argue that's partially because he himself changed so deeply. (I maintain that a part of him died when the search for Sam's body was finally called off. The part of him that finds it easy to be happy.) He's gotten rid of all the things iconic of himself then - the car, the coat, the rest of the outfit (including those gloriously awful white loafers).

It's possible the car went in the river when Sam (presumably) did, but it doesn't really make sense. I haven't heard the full story of how Sam died though, or at least haven't seen the scene(s) where it's talked about. If the Guv was away, wouldn't he take his own car? If the Cortina didn't go with Sam, that means Gene got rid of it intentionally, as he let Jackie keep his camel hair coat. He's got none of those previously much-loved possessions, and in addition to that he left His City behind. Presumably the city he grew up in (does he ever say specifically? I always assumed he had), but even if he didn't we know how deeply *his* it was. The only thing he's got from that time is Ray and Chris. It's like a completely new life. When Gene Hunt does denial, he does it *right* damn it.

And that's why I think he'd have a very strong reaction if Sam ever came back - you don't come out of denial that deep easily or quickly. I have very little idea of what specifically that reaction would be, but I think it would take a long time of Gene giving Sam weird side glances and being overprotective at odd moments. That's even if Gene tries to push Sam away at first, trying to keep the denial up even then. I think it would maybe be delayed - possibly a bit would slip at first, but Gene'd keep things together until everything was dealt with, and probably until he was alone.

Then? I have no idea. If he did finally let his feelings out at some point, whatever happened would be *huge*.

He'd probably be mad at Sam, too, once he'd started to accept that Sam was there and not dead. Betrayed. I hear at one point he insinuated Sam was a liar - I've always sort of thought that might refer to Sam at one point promising to stay.

Also, is anything ever mentioned about Annie? Why didn't she come with the Guv to London? Could she not get over Sam's presumed death? Did she quit the force, or is she distancing herself from things that remind her of Sam just as the Guv is? If she stayed in the force, what rank is she? She wasn't my favorite character, but she was very important to the show (and to Sam in particular) and in some ways I like her.

Oh, wait, Gene has that newspaper clipping on the board in his office about the tribute to Sam Tyler. Does that throw a kink into my denial theory? Or is it that he had to have *something* of Sam there, and most of the time he doesn't even glance at it? (Not during work hours, anyway.)

I usually think that, if Sam wasn't just sucked into some Metaphysical Abyss of Time or something, if his disappearance had a physical cause, that cause might be the people who organized the thing he was going to. (I want to say jewelry robbery.) They might have put something in the way, arranged for him to swerve off the road but maybe not in the water, subdued and kidnapped him, then pushed the car into the river. (It was a river, yes?)

Why would anyone keep Sam for a year? (Or however long it was.) Well, with his knowledge of crimes and stuff he could help them not get caught at whatever if they could get him to cooperate. Or... I dunno... just keep him for amusement? I tend to entertain the idea whoever kidnapped him forced him to work for them.

(Warren? It was a disappointing cop-out how the show made a big deal of how whoever had tried to take him down in the past had failed horribly, then showed absolutely no consequences to Gene and Sam putting him away. So, Warren, 7 years later?)

By 'forced' I mean maybe they threatened his team somehow, had guys keeping an eye on him at all times, and/or hooked him on drugs? I also tend to imagine Sam getting free and going to Manchester first, but in this scenario maybe Warren wants Sam to do something damaging to Gene, overestimates his power over Sam by that point and Sam has been aware of everything Gene's been doing since Sam's disappearance. And I would *love* for Sam, once he rejoined Gene, Chris, Ray, and the new London team, feeling kind of isolated and left out. (Apparently Gene has some sort of bond to Alex or something. *rolls eyes* And yes, for your information my eyes are always this shade of green, why do you ask?) And, not wanting Gene to reject him more than he already has (denial as strong as a mighty river, remember?) and knowing Gene's history with drugs, Sam hides his withdrawal as best he can. Maybe he gets desperate at some point and tries to wean himself off of them. God, this would be so much fun.

Um. Anyway.

Perhaps for a bit Sam could pretend to still be working for Warren in order to get rid of whatever leverage Warren has over Sam, so this isolation and withdrawal is going on even as Sam has to be undercover and hide from Warren his reunion with Gene, while hiding from Gene his addiction. Might Warren's 'power' over Sam be sexual in nature as well? I mean, that one rentboy *did* have a mighty resemblance to a certain Detective Inspector...

So, pretending to go after Gene to satiate Warren while trying not to do too much damage, but enough damage that his loyalty looks real to Warren, while trying to find whatever it is giving Warren the ability to threaten Gene/Annie/Chris/Ray/whoever, while hiding his addiction from Gene and the team, while trying to get *over* said addiction in a circumspect manner (and Sam's never been too good at hiding his mental issues), while feeling more isolated than he ever had during That Year because when he'd imagined their reunion he never once thought he wouldn't immediately fit back into the team, a peg slotting once again into a somewhat odd but perfectly carved hole (and, he might admit to himself, maybe he built up his and Gene's friendship a little). And Sam is, as he tends to be, slightly emo, but at the same time a strong, clever man and a damn good copper. <3

...Now back to your regularly scheduled whatever, I suppose. Immense ramble seems to be at a halt for now. I would also like to note that the song now playing (the one listed at the top of this post) is wonderfully appropriate. *grins*

Yay for getting so into fic you feel the need to rant about the characters <3

Oh, this is positively nostalgic. I remember when I used to yell through the screen at Annie, back when I watched LoM for the first time.

He's out of his mind at the moment, even more dramatically than usual! He's been taking drugs that dramatically altered his mind for ... I have no idea. A week? Probably more. A while, anyway. And while I cheered when Gene took him out of the hospital, a brain suddenly being bereft of chemicals it's become used to is definitely going to have an effect. While his behavior resembles that of a child, he is not rational - not even in the way a young child would be. So don't go off cry ing when you hadle the situation wrong and he hits you! You've given him worse, for pete's sake! *cough*kidney-punch-when-his-back-was-turned*cough* Granted, he sort of asked for that one specifically, but it looks like it hurts like hell. And he just slapped you! You little sissy!

(Usually she's cool enough, it's only when she relates to Sam - or, to be more accurate, doesn't - that she annoys me like this.)
As the only other person I know who's into LoM currently has a HORRIBLY TERRIFYINGLY busy workload (and would be in bed by now anyway, damn time difference), and anyway might not have read this story, I am going to flail and squee to no one in particular.

Spoilers for Steady as She Goes, chapter 38

RAY, I LOVE YOU! I know I didn't at first but on my first go-round watching something I tend to trust the narrator because I'm still naieve and kind of stupid, but Sam's an unreliable narrator (not saying I don't love that, mind), and yes there's a lot to Ray and he's awesome and I love him more than ever because YES! I saw this thing once that said giving a guy a blowjob was like giving a woman flowers, and I'm so willing to do that for Ray right now! Yes, they'll likely never be buds on a day-to-day basis, but he does care about Sam and now he's showing it and standing up to Gene and MAJOR CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT AND IT IS AWESOME AND I AM LOVING THIS STORY LIKE THE MOST FUCKING DELICIOUS BLACK FOREST CAKE THAT HAS EVER EXISTED and yes yes yes YES, Ahaha!

Anyone else want to smash LJ code with a hammer?

I accidentally posted this to lifein1973 for a moment, meant to post it to my private journal in lieu of lj-cut... In case the mods noticed and are wtf-ing or something. *sighs* Anyway. And for some reason the story itself is coming out all weird on a white background. I don't even know.

Title: Late Nights

Rating: White Cortina

Word Count: 453

Notes: I wrote this a while ago, but I'm fairly sure I never posted it here. Contains implied slash.

Summary: What two officers of the law get up to at the station when everyone else has gone home. Once the footsteps faded, one shot the other a blue-green, narrow-eyed glare.

"Just what are you implying, detective?"

"I'm implying that you seemed to know your way around all of it well enough last ni--"

"Shh!" shh-ed the taller man, taking a quick glance around before responding further.

"Not here, all right? What did I tell you! Besides, last night we didn't have that to deal with." He cocked his thumb at it, the top half still out of sight beneath its hiding place.

For a moment, they stared at it and shared a contemplative silence.

"Well, best get to it then." Decided the other, rubbing his hands together before squatting down before it, grabbing something, and giving a fierce yank upwards.

"Oi! Don't tear it!"

"You'd best come down here and help then, hadn't you?"

A few grunts, curses, and manly noises of frustration later, the two set it into place, stepped back, and took a proud look at their handiwork.

"It actually has quite a resemblance." Remarked the shorter man, hands on hips. "If he... well. You know." He waved a hand expansively at it.

His companion gave it a second, slightly more considering look. "You may have a point." he replied, and after a moment clapped a hand onto the other man's shoulder. "Well, time for us to get going. Got the whole night ahead of us, after all."

There was a sliding, sideways, meaningful look which was returned with interest. With a raised eyebrow, even. The two proceeded to grin at each other and then snuck very sneakily out of the RCS department and back to a small, slightly cramped flat with one bed and intimidating wallpaper.

They left it sitting on a chair in front of a desk. Its knee-high leather boots weren't zipped all the way up, and the fishnet stockings pulled rather tightly over the plastic thighs. The corset seemed to sit well over the upper body, though, even on top of the flat, smooth chest with toilet paper spilling out over the top of the breast-cups. The thong really did show off the air-filled bulge of the figure's ... assets... quite nicely, though it was built for a more narrow-hipped figure and the straps looked close to snapping.

The sketch taped on top of the figure's face was what pulled it all together, however. You know, it really did bear quite a resemblance to DCI Litton.

Even though he didn't usually tend to wink quite that lewdly.

Post-script notes: Written for tehringmaster in a meme on my journal, who requested Sam/Gene and an unexpected item or place.

a LoM daydream type thingy

I just looked back at the page I had up (part of dorsetgirl 's Survival series, lovely angsty wonderfulness), and actually expected it for a moment to be a continuation of the scenario I'd just been thinking of. I forgot it was in my head and not fic. xD Though psychotic!Sam has definitely been written. One of the aspects of Sam's character I love is how dedicated he is to justice, how good he tries to be (and how good he sometimes thinks he is), so I haven't really read much of those. My imagination, however, seems to have fewer such problems. *grins* When I imagine badass!Sam (who isn't quite psychotic!Sam, but sort of close), the scenario is usually that something bad has happened to Gene, and Sam's gone all vengeful/protective, with that glare he has that could probably cut through titanium or something.

Usually he's terrifying criminals with a combination of softly intent voice, that glare, and careful, thoughtful application of violence at all the right places/times. Typically Ray's there and is grudgingly impressed. And maybe, very very secretly, a little intimidated. (I did say this was a daydream, didn't I?)

When Gene gets better from whatever happened, maybe one time the team's having some sort of confrontation with robbers or something, and one would make some sort of motion to go after Gene and then shoot a wide-eyed glance at Sam. Sam would respond with this narrow-eyed look - other than that he'd not change in any definable way, but for a moment he'd get this air of incredible menace about him. The criminal in question would change his tactic, shift his gun to the side or something and the moment would pass, but Gene would perhaps note the exchange and file it away. (Where it definitely wouldn't be forgotten, because I'll bet Gene's mental filing practices are a hell of a lot more impeccable than his physical ones. He just doesn't let on to that very often, if at all.)

The dudes they were having the confrontation with, you see, had nothing to do with the earlier incident with Gene, but word dating from that time has spread: You don't mess with the Sheriff. His DI is fucking psycho and will go off on your ass. (And, I feel it necessary to add, not in a fun way.) Not even the grace of God could save you from his wrath. *laughs at self*

So! In this imaginary Sam-is-almost-kind-of-psycho-but-for-sure-really-overprotective alternate universe, crime goes on as usual, and it's not like everyone avoids Gene, business is business after all, but everyone knows not to make any kind of special effort to go after him.

THE RULES:
• Post ten of any pictures currently on your hard drive that you think are self-expressive.
• NO CAPTIONS!!! It must be like we're speaking with images and we have to interpret your visual language just like we have to interpret your words.
• They must ALREADY be on your hard drive - no Googling or Flickr or anything else! They have to have been saved to your computer sometime in the past. They must be something you've saved there because it resonated with you for some reason.
• You do NOT have to answer any questions about any of your pictures if you don't want to. You can make them as mysterious as you like. Or you can explain them away as much as you like.

I couldn't quite get them down to ten, but one is almost all text so perhaps the Cheese Rolling Picture That Could Not Be Left Out makes up for that one?

Leave me a comment saying "Resistance is Futile."
• I'll respond by asking you five questions so I can satisfy my curiosity.
• Update your journal with the answers to the questions.
• Include this explanation in the post and offer to ask other people questions.

questions from fern_tree :

1. What are your favourite 5 songs right now and why?

In no particular order:

Song to Say Goodbye by Placebo. Why? 'Nuff said.
Erm... Probably some stuff by Muse because I lurve them. Uprising, for one. It's much... fun.
Blood, Sex, and Booze, by Green Day. If the song wasn't enough on its own, there's this. Seeing a pattern?
The Baby Tree, because a stranger song I have rarely heard, and I like the tune.
Nearly every song in the vids 8bulletproof8 does...

2. What is your ideal job?

I have thought about this extensively, and upon reflection I have decided that I would be happiest being a keeper of a harem.

3. If you could have a superpower, what would it be?

The ability to choose my superpower. Cheating? Yes. Let's see.

(I have to rant a sec, hold on - DOBBIN DESERVES MORE THAN A DISAPPOINTED LITTLE, "Oh. Captain Dobbin." When he visits, you stupid little... If you can't recognize that, you're not worth the time it took the maid to dress the hair on your utterly boring, mainstream, empty little head! MAY YOU BE ATTACKED BY BOOHBAHS IN THE AFTERLIFE YOU IDIOTIC LITTLE BITCH, and you know what? I hope you marry that lying slutbag twatwaffle of a husband, because I know exactly what he'll do the very month you tie the knot with him! HAVE A MISERABLE LIFE YOU UTTERLY USELESS BORING CUNT.

This has been a broadcast in defense of adorable blue-eyed Dobbins everywhere with senseless crushes who for some reason won't bring themselves to speak up for their own good. You may now continue with your day. Thank you.)

So, superpower. The ability to have a Sexby of my very own. <3

4. If you ruled the country for a day, what would you change?

Not nearly enough time to get things done. However, if this means dictatorship, I would work something out with gay marriage. Maybe calling it something different to placate its opponents? Something. I would create squads roaming the countryside doing whatever they see fit to those who harm animals. Hmm. I'd have a mansion built that had a room full of playpen balls, and another room with a trampoline floor and padded walls. (I've thought about this extensively, you see, as one of my friends has been talking about ruling the world for years.) I'd see about that harem. I'd create the Bible O' Sexy and the religion dedicated to the Mighty Greek-Roman Rubber Chicken. I'd get a chauffeur.

5. What is your favourite item of clothing that you own?

Heh, you spelled it with a u! I love extraneous u's! Anyway. Possibly the pinstriped sort-of fedora I got at Wal-Mart. I almost never wear it though. That and/or the tye-dyed socks that I can never find two of on the same day.
