Current Music: I've discovered a great love for songs by The Killers...
I found G. K. Chesterton's Wikipedia page. He sounds like a very cool guy. Until today, all I'd heard of him was from the dedication of the book Good Omens, by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett:
The authors would like to join the demon Crowley in dedicating this book to the memory of
G. K. Chesterton
A man who knew what was going on
On the wikipedia page, I found another quote of his I like:
"The whole modern world has divided itself into Conservatives and Progressives. The business of Progressives is to go on making mistakes. The business of the Conservatives is to prevent the mistakes from being corrected."

So, he now joins the oh-so-exalted ranks of people I admire. I keep thinking of Ambrose Bierce, who was also incredibly clever, but I think a bit more bitter and unsettled.
