Ferntree and I have decided there is a calling in this world for a Bible O' Sexy. As yet, however, we have only been able to divine three commandments:
1.) ... Be Sexy.
2.) If The Sexy tells you to do something, thou shalt do it without question, however bizarre.
3.) The Sexy is everywhere- do not try to hide from it, for it will find you.
Is anyone inspired with suggestions? *waggles eyebrows*

There doesn't seem to be any adequate Jafar fic... anywhere. This makes me sad.
It's playing on TV, that's why I thought of it...
There were even one or two Aladdin/Jafar fics on fanfiction.net. My reaction: Laughter, combined with saying "no" over and over.
As very fond as I am of The Slash... just... no. It would - they would NEVER work. Unless you're talking non-con, which I'm not into anyway.
Not that I wouldn't be willing to be proven wrong, of course. Just point me to the fic, and I'll give it a try.

Um. UM!
Look. Look. I want this, right? I want it so, so much. But it's made in the UK, and a class I had last year said the US and the UK have different rates... or something. I mean the way their movies and television play. Frames Per Second, or some other number. DVDs made for the UK don't work on US players, and vice versa. Does anyone know how it might be possible for me to find out if this is available to people in the US?

ya. I didn't kill you last time, remember?" [shoves the bars with an angry grunt]

I find myself reluctant to watch any more DS9. I have no desire to watch Odo deal with his feelings for that falsely wise, hypocritical, hugely self-important Founder chick. I don't care about Kira's struggles with morality. I couldn't give two shits about the rest of them and whatever they're going through. Maybe I could give one, as long as the story line didn't take too much time. I like Cisco, and... everyone, really. Maybe Kira the slightest bit less. I like them - I just want to know stuff about Garak now.
What I'd like to do is read fan fic. I see comments from people that indicate there is quite a bit of it.
Where is it? I've found a few, but really... *shakes head* Not as much as I'd like.
If you could assist in this, I would thank you profusely. And give you imaginary cookies. Or whatever.

I really want to see the Beetlejuice cartoon episode, "Don't Beetlejuice and Drive". I've found out that it's season four, episode fifty-seven (... which is strange. Isn't it? The other seasons have, like, thirteen episodes. But Wikipedia says it, so it MUST be true.)
Probably a big reason I want to see it so badly is that I've only found one place to watch it. The episode names and numbers are all English, but the show itself is dubbed. In Russian. Which I don't speak. *squeaks and flails*
My distress is far outweighed by my amusement. However, if anyone happens to see this and know where to find it, I would appreciate the knowledge very much.
I started drawing last night, too. It was unexpectedly good. I paused a Beetlejuice ep so I could glance back at that for reference every now and then. Had a little trouble with Lydia's feet, and I'm still trying to figure out the perspective thing - how to draw BJ's arm so it looks like it's actually bent in a natural way as opposed to sticking out all awkwardly at the side. While trying to draw it, I just realized that his arm could go *back* too. A simple concept, yes, which is why it was such a lightbulb moment.
There are high piles of dirty dishes in the sink. My mom is annoyed by them.
*thinks about this a moment*
*goes to take a nap*
Oh yeah, I gave my speech today. I think I did pretty well. Going second is a good time, I think; time enough to relax a bit, not go up there right away and still be nervous. Won't know the grade 'till next week, after everyone gives theirs. Oh, the disappointment.

Now that I'm really interested in the Canadian T.V. show Traders and would like to buy at least the 1st season (which, as far as I know, is the only season released on dvd), it's not available on either of the two sites I know!
I'm most familiar with Amazon, and both it and its Canadian version (I assume that's what Amazon ca is) are out of stock with no idea when they'll get more. I don't have much of an idea at all how Ebay works, but I went there and did a search, and they apparently don't have it either.
I might not even like it anyway, but then again I might... there was, it seems, a channel that showed English speaking television from around the world that played it, which was bought out and 'gutted' by USA Networks. It's the Man, screwing with our T.V. quality. *shakes fist in air* Damn the Man! Damn you, big opportunistic, self-centered networks!
I posted pretty much the same thing on the dGeek forum, so I'll see if anyone has any ideas.

I've just learned that there exists a crossover between Good Omens and SGA. John and Rodney are as the North American equivalents of my favorite demon and angel. So I have read.
The only places I've seen that have links to it are huge lists. Huge.

There's a Stargate: Atlantis story which I would like to re-read. I found it on a page of recommendations, which is probably lurking in my bookmarks somewhere.
My bookmarked list of 'archive' or 'rec' sites, though, is so large that I'd be looking for days if I looked through them one-by-one. I found a search community for Atlantis on LJ, but I'm reluctant to contact a moderator and get permission to join just so I can find this one thing.
For any SGA fan that happens to read this and is willing to help, it's ... well, Rodney has an allergic reaction while offworld, and I remember the person who rec'd it noting that the really interesting part was how he handled it afterward.
I love the characterization in it, and really want to read it again. Why I want to read it again now I have no clue, but... well, I'd be very grateful if anyone knows.

I've been searching through the Teaspoon archive, and I just wanted to almost-complain a bit. Used the search function, and I don't get the type of stories I want! That's probably because I don't know how to look. Want to read ones about the Doctor and Jack. Not necessarily slash, just about them. I like Rose, but I keep getting stories about her and the Doctor and I wish there was a 'character exclude' function on the search thing. That's about it. Except for school news: did the three things, finished by 4 something. So proud of me. Hope I find my folder with that stuff in it which is imperative for some of the things, or I'm screwed. Also, I work tomorrow. Focusing on fandom things, 'cause it makes me happy... Jack! Jack. If I don't find anything I'll go searching through my memories. Which I managed a while ago to make all public (the Doctor Who section). Joy!
There goes Boise, Idaho, calling again. I wonder who they are?

I did a google search for my friend who moved to Missouri a while ago. Many people have his name, but I couldn't find one that seemed to be him. I tried a few different phrases in addition to his name, too. Ah, well.
I googled my name first, and found one that was likely me. I opened it in another tab, and looked at it after I had stopped googling my friend's name. It 'twas me, sure enough, and I looked in another letter and found another friend, too! I was happy that she is indeed registered at the same school I am, as we said we'd be.
Anyway, I suppose that's it. My mom placed a bag of licorice flavored Jelly Belly's by the computer, probably so she would stop eating them, and now I am. I am hoping to buy a used copy of Sid Meier's Pirates on amazon dot com, once I activate my bank card.
Side note: I love the kittens here in the house. They are wonderful. :)

I thought Keith Richards looked awesome in his role in At World's End. I have been trying to find pictures of him as such, but I can not find any. I have been looking with various phrases on google, and an interest search here at LJ for "Teague".
I don't know of any groups formatted for that sort of thing, so I post this. I know it's not so very likely, but if anyone reads this and happens to know where I may find images of the character, I would be very grateful if you would let me know. I may have to buy the movie to see... but if that is so, I probably won't. I may actually take joy in watching the movie itself, though, if I do... I may just reserve myself to not being able to renew my memory. 'Tis merely a faint desire, but I would still like to see the character. :)
